William Bowyer (died 1628)
William Bowyer (died 1628) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1604 and 1628.
Bowyer was likely a member of the Bowyer family of Denham Court, Buckinghamshire, though the precise connection remains unclear. He entered parliament in 1604 as a Member of Parliament for Great Marlow, and held the seat until 1611. He was elected MP for Aylesbury in 1624. In 1625, he was elected MP for Buckinghamshire. He was re-elected MP for Buckinghamshire in 1626 and 1628. He died in 1628 during his last term in Parliament. His parliamentary activities appear to have been relatively limited; records of his speeches or significant committee work are scarce. Further research is needed to clarify his biography and political affiliations.
