Hero (Angel) is a fictional character appearing in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Created by Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt, Angel is a vampire cursed with a soul, condemned to feel remorse for the centuries of evil he committed as a soulless vampire.
