Technicolour (rock band)

Technicolour is a New Zealand psychedelic rock band formed in Auckland. The band is known for their blend of dreamy soundscapes, heavy guitar riffs, and introspective lyrics. Originally a solo project of guitarist Lewis de Jong (also a member of the band Alien Weaponry), Technicolour evolved into a full band lineup. Their music draws influences from various genres including psychedelic rock, shoegaze, and alternative rock. Technicolour has released several EPs and singles, and gained recognition for their live performances and unique sound. Their sound is often characterized by swirling effects, powerful drumming, and a combination of ethereal vocals and distorted guitars creating a dynamic and immersive sonic experience.
