Dismember (album)
Dismember is a self-titled album by the Swedish death metal band Dismember, released in 2008 on Regain Records. It is their eighth and final full-length studio album. The album marked a return to a more raw and aggressive sound compared to some of their previous efforts, incorporating elements reminiscent of their earlier work. Key characteristics of the album include heavily distorted guitar riffs, guttural vocals, and blast beat drumming, all staples of the death metal genre. Following its release, the band embarked on touring to support the album before ultimately disbanding in 2011. Dismember reunited several years later, but this album remains their last studio recording.
