Maurice Evans (actor)
Maurice Evans (1901-1989) was a British actor, renowned for his commanding stage presence and Shakespearean interpretations. Born in Dorchester, Dorset, England, he began his acting career in the 1920s and quickly established himself as a leading man on the British stage.
