Jack Marshall (Canadian politician)

Jack Marshall (December 27, 1919 – August 16, 2004) was a Canadian politician. He served as a Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for the riding of Humber—St. George's—St. Barbe in Newfoundland and Labrador from 1968 to 1984.

Marshall was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Prior to entering politics, he served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War and later worked in the private sector in various managerial roles.

In Parliament, Marshall was a strong advocate for veterans' rights and for the interests of his constituents in western Newfoundland. He served on numerous committees, including the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs and the Standing Committee on Regional Development. He was known for his tireless work ethic and dedication to his constituents.

After retiring from politics in 1984, Marshall remained active in community affairs. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 1999 for his contributions to veterans' affairs and to his region.
