Juan Pablo (footballer, born 1978)

Juan Pablo Sorín (born February 14, 1976), is a retired Argentine footballer who played primarily as a left-back or left midfielder. He is often referred to simply as Juan Pablo.

Sorín enjoyed a successful club career, playing for notable teams such as Argentinos Juniors, Juventus, River Plate, Cruzeiro, Lazio, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Villarreal, and Hamburger SV. He was known for his energetic performances, leadership qualities, and versatility on the left side of the field. He was a tenacious tackler, skilled passer, and capable of contributing both defensively and offensively.

At the international level, Sorín was a key member of the Argentina national team for over a decade.
