David Allison (Australian politician)

David Allison (born 19 November 1940) is an Australian politician who served as a Liberal Party member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council for the electorate of Wilmot from 1995 to 2014. Prior to entering parliament, Allison was involved in the agricultural sector, farming in the Derwent Valley. During his time in the Legislative Council, he served on various committees and was known for representing the interests of rural communities. He did not seek re-election in 2014.
