Fu Ying (chemist)

Fu Ying (傅莹) is a Chinese chemist specializing in electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, and materials chemistry, with a particular focus on developing electrochemical sensors and biosensors. She is a professor at Peking University, in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering.

Her research interests include nanomaterials synthesis and application in electrochemical analysis, electrochemical sensing of biomolecules and environmental pollutants, and surface electrochemistry. A significant portion of her work involves designing and fabricating novel electrochemical sensors for various applications, including environmental monitoring, food safety, and biomedical diagnostics. These sensors often incorporate nanomaterials to enhance their sensitivity and selectivity.

Professor Fu received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Peking University. She has published extensively in leading international journals and has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to the field. She is also involved in mentoring and training students in electrochemistry and related disciplines. Her research group at Peking University focuses on developing innovative electrochemical technologies for a sustainable future.
