Marisol is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa in 1996. It stars Erika Buenfil and Eduardo Santamarina.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Marisol, a young woman with a facial scar who sells paper flowers to survive. Unbeknownst to her, she is the granddaughter of wealthy aristocrat, Don Alonso Garcés del Valle. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she meets José Andrés Garcés del Valle, Don Alonso's grandson and a kind-hearted doctor. They fall in love, but their relationship is complicated by family secrets, lies, and the machinations of malicious characters who seek to keep them apart and claim the Garcés del Valle fortune for themselves. Marisol must fight against prejudice and adversity to uncover her true identity and find lasting happiness. The telenovela explores themes of social class, family, love, and redemption.
