Wang Yang (footballer, born 1989)
Wang Yang (Chinese: 王暘; born January 8, 1989) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays as a defender.
Career
Wang Yang began his football career playing for Shandong Luneng's youth academy. He was promoted to Shandong Luneng's first team squad in 2008. He did not establish himself within the team and was loaned out to Shenyang Dongjin in 2010, where he made 16 appearances.
In 2011, Wang Yang transferred to China League One side Chengdu Blades. He played for Chengdu Blades for several seasons, contributing to their defensive efforts.
In 2015, he transferred to Hebei Zhongji. He continued to play professionally in the lower leagues of Chinese football.
