Yasuo Saitō (diplomat)
Yasuo Saitō (born July 2, 1942) is a Japanese diplomat. He served as the Ambassador of Japan to France from 2005 to 2008. Prior to his ambassadorship in France, Saitō held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, including Director-General of the European Affairs Bureau. He is known for his expertise in European affairs and his contributions to strengthening diplomatic relations between Japan and France.
