Arif Khan (skier)

Arif Khan (born March 3, 1990) is an Indian alpine skier. He represented India at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, competing in the slalom and giant slalom events. Khan is the first Indian athlete to directly qualify for the Winter Olympics in two different events. Prior to the 2022 Olympics, he had represented India in multiple international skiing competitions, including World Championships. Khan has been a key figure in promoting and developing winter sports in India, particularly in the Jammu and Kashmir region, where he hails from. He has received support and recognition from the Indian government and sports organizations for his achievements and efforts to popularize skiing in the country.
