91 Aegina
91 Aegina is a large main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by Jérôme Coggia on November 4, 1866, from Marseilles.
Aegina is classified as a C-type asteroid, meaning it is carbonaceous in composition, and thus appears very dark. It has a low albedo.
The asteroid is named after Aegina, a nymph in Greek mythology, daughter of the river god Asopus and mother of Aeacus by Zeus.
