Biro-Biro (footballer, born 1964)
Biro-Biro (born Antônio José da Silva Filho, May 18, 1964) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
Biro-Biro, named after Biro-Biro (Salvador Francisco), a famous Corinthians player of the late 1970s and early 1980s, is best known for his time playing for Sport Club do Recife in the late 1980s. He was a key member of the Sport Recife team that won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 1987. He was known for his dribbling skills and flair.
After leaving Sport Recife, he played for several other clubs in Brazil, although he never replicated the success he had with Sport. His career also included periods playing abroad.
