GoShogun
GoShogun, also known as Fighting General GoShogun (戦国魔神ゴーショーグン, Sengoku Majin Gōshōgun), is a Japanese mecha anime television series created by Takeshi Shudo and produced by Knack Productions. It aired in Japan from 1981 to 1982.
Synopsis:
In the distant future of the 27th century, the Earth is threatened by a trio of powerful but eccentric villains known as the Dokuga, Kiltogear, and Sujaku. These leaders are motivated by personal gain and enjoyment rather than grand schemes of conquest. The Earth's only hope lies with the Good Thunder Team, a group of skilled pilots piloting three separate vehicles: King Arrow, Jack Knight, and Queen Rose. These vehicles can combine to form the giant robot, GoShogun. The series focuses on the Good Thunder Team's battles against the Dokuga, Kiltogear, and Sujaku, as well as the personal lives and relationships of the team members.
