Yo Frankie (album)

Yo Frankie is an album by the American rock band, Les Claypool's Frog Brigade, released in 2007. The album is a near-complete cover of the original album Frankie, by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, reinterpreted in a psychedelic and experimental style. The album notably features a guest appearance by Adrian Belew of King Crimson fame on the track "Walk Like a Man." Yo Frankie is characterized by its extended instrumental sections, complex arrangements, and Claypool's signature bass playing. The album also includes a handful of original compositions, including "David Makalaster, Pt. 1" and "David Makalaster, Pt. 2" that serve as interludes and a break from the Frankie Valli material. The album's title is a play on the original album's title.
