Lund Church (Agder)

Lund Church is a parish church in Lund municipality in Agder county, Norway. The church is located in the village of Moi. It is part of the Dalane prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform style in 1811 by builder Ole Thorsen. The church seats about 300 people.

The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1326 when it was listed as Lundum kirkja. The first church in Lund was likely a stave church that was located about 200 metres (660 ft) to the south of the present church site. This church was torn down in the late-1500s and replaced with a timber-framed church on the same site. In 1811, the old church was torn down and a new church was built about 200 metres (660 ft) to the north, on the present site.
