Calichín
Calichín is a colloquial term, primarily used in Peru and some other parts of South America, to refer to a young or inexperienced football (soccer) player, often one who shows potential but is not yet fully developed. The term carries a connotation of being a novice or someone who is still learning the ropes of the game. It can sometimes be used affectionately, but also carries the potential for being slightly dismissive, depending on the context. The word suggests someone who is "green" or "raw" in their skill and experience within the sport.
