Michael Powell (lobbyist)

Michael K. Powell is an American lobbyist and former government official. He served as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from 2001 to 2005.

Following his tenure at the FCC, Powell transitioned to the private sector, becoming a lobbyist and advocate for various telecommunications and technology companies. He is currently the President and CEO of NCTA – The Internet & Television Association, a trade association representing cable and broadband companies in the United States.
