Slapy (Prague-West District)
Slapy is a municipality and village in the Prague-West District within the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 25 kilometers southwest of Prague.
The municipality encompasses a relatively large area and includes several smaller villages and hamlets. These settlements are often dispersed throughout the hilly landscape characteristic of the region.
Slapy is primarily known for the Slapy Reservoir (Vodní nádrž Slapy), a large artificial lake on the Vltava River.
