John Williams (offensive tackle)

John Williams is a former American football offensive tackle. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Williams was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played for the Seahawks from 2006 to 2009, primarily as a backup. He also played for the Chicago Bears in 2010, starting several games at right tackle due to injuries. His career ended after the 2010 season. While in the NFL, Williams was known primarily for his size and strength, offering depth to offensive lines throughout his career. His playing weight was typically around 330 pounds.
