Oscar Díaz (boxer)
Oscar Díaz (born February 13, 1972) is a Mexican-American former professional boxer. He competed from 1994 to 2009, primarily in the super bantamweight division.
Díaz is perhaps best known for his valiant effort against Israel Vázquez in a 2005 fight for the WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight title. Though Díaz lost by technical knockout in the tenth round, the fight was highly competitive and entertaining, showcasing Díaz's toughness and determination.
Throughout his career, Díaz faced a number of notable opponents, including Manny Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Juan Manuel Márquez. He was a durable and skilled fighter known for his aggressive style.
