Jo Dyer

Jo Dyer is an Australian arts and human rights advocate, academic, and political commentator. She is best known for her advocacy for justice for victims of sexual assault, particularly in relation to the case of her friend, Natasha Stott Despoja's, alleged rape by an unnamed man.

Dyer served as the Director of the Adelaide Writers' Week from 2019 to 2024, during which time she oversaw the festival's programming and operations. She has also worked as a lecturer at the University of Adelaide, teaching in the areas of politics and international relations.
