Giorgio Ceragioli (sculptor)
Giorgio Ceragioli (born 1930, died 2008) was an Italian sculptor known for his modernist abstract works, primarily in bronze and other metals. He studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin and later taught sculpture. Ceragioli's sculptures often explored themes of form, space, and movement, reflecting an interest in industrial design and the relationship between humans and technology. His works are featured in public and private collections in Italy and internationally. Later in his career he experimented with materials such as resin and fiberglass. Ceragioli was associated with the artistic movements that emerged in Italy during the post-war period, contributing to the development of contemporary sculpture.
