Channing (TV series)

Channing was an American drama television series that aired on ABC during the 1963-1964 season. The series starred Jason Evers in the title role of Professor J. Channing, an English professor at fictional Winslow University. Each episode explored the challenges and ethical dilemmas faced by academics and students within the university setting.

The series focused on intellectual pursuits, character development, and moral complexities rather than action or suspense. Episodes often delved into topics such as academic freedom, student activism, social responsibility, and the impact of intellectual ideas on individuals and society.
