Ernest Farrar (politician)

Ernest Farrar (1882 – 1943) was an Australian politician. He served as a Labor member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1921 to 1943.

Born in Sydney, Farrar worked as a bootmaker and was a prominent figure in the boot trade union movement. He was elected to the Legislative Council, then an indirectly elected body, in 1921. Farrar remained a member until his death in 1943. During his time in parliament, he advocated for workers' rights and social justice issues. He served on various committees and was known for his contributions to debates related to labor legislation and industrial relations.
