Tangub

Tangub is a city located in the province of Misamis Occidental, Philippines. It is situated on the southern coast of Panguil Bay. As a component city, Tangub is politically and administratively independent of the province. Its economy is largely based on agriculture and fishing. Tangub is known for its annual Christmas Symbols Festival, where elaborately designed Christmas displays are showcased throughout the city. The city has a mayor-council form of government. The local language spoken is Cebuano.
