Donna Moore (novelist)

Donna Moore is a Scottish novelist, best known for her dark and often darkly humorous crime fiction. Her work frequently features strong female protagonists and explores themes of social injustice, family dysfunction, and violence against women.

Born and raised in Scotland, Moore has written several novels, including Go To Helena Handbasket (2014), Brothel (2011), and Summer of the Meat Cute (2020). Go To Helena Handbasket was shortlisted for the McIlvanney Prize for Scottish Crime Book of the Year.
