KT Wiz

The KT Wiz (Korean: KT 위즈) are a South Korean professional baseball team. They are a member of the KBO League (Korea Baseball Organization). The team is based in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and is owned by KT Corporation.

The Wiz were officially founded in 2013 as the tenth franchise of the KBO League, and began playing in the league in the 2015 season. Prior to their entry into the KBO, KT Corporation operated a police baseball team which served as a development system for professional players fulfilling their mandatory military service.

The team's name, "Wiz," is short for "wizard," reflecting KT Corporation's focus on technology and innovation. The Wiz play their home games at Suwon KT Wiz Park. They won their first Korean Series championship in 2021, defeating the Doosan Bears.
