Consequence (rapper)
Consequence, born Dexter Raymond Mills Jr., is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best known for his association with Kanye West and the GOOD Music label.
Early Career and Collaborations:
Consequence gained prominence in the early 2000s through his affiliation with A Tribe Called Quest, particularly through his cousin, Q-Tip. He began his career contributing to A Tribe Called Quest albums and touring with the group. He subsequently signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music label.
GOOD Music and Album Releases:
Under GOOD Music, Consequence released several mixtapes and his debut album, Don't Quit Your Day Job!, in 2007. His subsequent album, Cons TV, was released independently in 2011. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists, including Kanye West, Common, John Legend, and others.
