Karussell

A Karussell is the German word for a carousel or merry-go-round. It is an amusement ride consisting of a rotating circular platform with seats for riders. These seats are traditionally in the form of wooden horses or other animals mounted on posts, many of which are moved up and down by gears to simulate galloping. Other seat types can include benches or even miniature vehicles.

Karussells are often found in amusement parks, fairs, and playgrounds. They are considered a classic and nostalgic form of entertainment, particularly for children.
