Will Lockwood (rower)

Will Lockwood (born 18 June 1988) is an Australian rower. He is an Olympic medalist and a world champion.

Lockwood began his rowing career at Scotch College, Melbourne. He first represented Australia at the junior level in 2006. He progressed through the ranks, rowing in various boat classes, including the coxless four and the eight.

His major achievements include a silver medal in the men's coxless four at the 2016 Rio Olympics, alongside Joshua Dunkley-Smith, Alexander Hill, and Alexander Belonogoff. He also won a gold medal in the men's eight at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia.

Lockwood has represented Australia at multiple World Rowing Championships, World Cups, and other international regattas, earning numerous podium finishes and contributing to Australia's success in international rowing. He is known for his dedication, work ethic, and technical proficiency as a rower. He retired from competitive rowing in 2020.
