Paul Edwards (footballer, born 1980)

Paul Edwards (born 20 March 1980) is a Welsh former professional footballer. He primarily played as a defender.

Edwards began his career at Swansea City, making his professional debut in 1998. He went on to make over 100 league appearances for the Swans before joining Oldham Athletic in 2004. After a season with Oldham, he moved to Yeovil Town in 2005.

He also had spells at Peterborough United, Stockport County, and Newport County before retiring from professional football.

Following his playing career, Edwards has been involved in coaching at the youth level.
