Ricardo Pinto (baseball)

Ricardo Pinto (born November 10, 1995) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays, and in the KBO League for the KT Wiz.

Pinto signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2012. He made his MLB debut with the Phillies on May 17, 2017. He was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox in November 2018, then traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in December of the same year. Pinto was designated for assignment by the Rays in June 2019.

In January 2020, Pinto signed with the KT Wiz of the KBO League. He returned to MLB, signing a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles in 2021, but was released. He then signed with the Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican League. In December 2021, Pinto signed a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals, but was released prior to the season. He subsequently signed with the Guerreros de Oaxaca of the Mexican League.
