Ryan Kelly (basketball)

Ryan Kelly is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Duke University, where he was a key member of the 2010 national championship team. A stretch four known for his shooting ability, Kelly was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2013 NBA draft.

Kelly played for the Lakers from 2013 to 2016, serving as a role player and occasional starter. He then had brief stints with the Atlanta Hawks and the Houston Rockets, as well as playing in the NBA Development League (later G League) and overseas.

Prior to his professional career, Kelly was a highly regarded high school player. At Duke, he overcame several injuries to become a valuable contributor, known for his offensive versatility and basketball IQ. His time at Duke culminated in the 2010 championship and cemented his reputation as a skilled college player.
