John Higgins (footballer, born 1933)
John Higgins (born 20 November 1933) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a right half.
Higgins began his career with Dundee United in 1951 and made over 100 league appearances for the club. During his time at Tannadice, he was known for his consistent performances and hard work in midfield.
In 1958, Higgins moved to Raith Rovers, where he continued to play regularly. He spent several seasons with the Kirkcaldy club before finishing his professional career.
After retiring from professional football, Higgins remained involved in the game at a local level.
