USS Carr
The USS Carr has been the name of two ships in the United States Navy, both named for Quartermaster Robert Emmet Carr, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the American Civil War.

USS Carr (DD-162): A Wickes-class destroyer, commissioned in 1919. She served during World War I in a limited capacity and was later transferred to the Royal Navy in 1940 as HMS Cameron (I05) as part of the Destroyers for Bases Agreement. HMS Cameron was sunk by German aircraft in 1940.

USS Carr (FFG-52): An Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate, commissioned in 1985 and decommissioned in 2013. She served extensively in various operations and deployments throughout her service life, including counter-narcotics operations and deployments to the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf. After decommissioning, she was sold to Mexico and renamed ARM Benito Juárez (F 101).
