Truman (2015 film)

Truman is a 2015 Spanish-Argentine dramedy film directed by Cesc Gay. The film stars Ricardo Darín and Javier Cámara as long-time friends who reunite when Julián (Darín) is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Tomás (Cámara) travels from Canada to Madrid to spend four days with Julián, helping him to settle his affairs and find a good home for his beloved dog, Truman, a bullmastiff.

The film explores themes of friendship, mortality, acceptance, and the challenges of confronting death. It focuses on the emotional journey of both men as they grapple with Julián's impending demise and the difficult decisions he must make.

Truman premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2015 and was released in Spain on October 30, 2015.
