Kazimierz Sokołowski (ice hockey)
Kazimierz Sokołowski (born March 11, 1908, in Stary Sambor, died July 3, 1998, in Krakow) was a Polish ice hockey player and coach. He competed in the 1928, 1932, and 1936 Winter Olympics, as well as multiple World Championships. He was a key member of the Polish national team during its pre-World War II successes. Sokołowski was known for his defensive skills and leadership.
After his playing career, he transitioned to coaching. He coached the Polish national team and several club teams, contributing significantly to the development of ice hockey in Poland. He is considered a significant figure in Polish ice hockey history.
