The Voice (Russian TV series) season 1
The Voice (Russian TV series) season 1 was the inaugural season of the Russian reality talent show The Voice, which premiered on Channel One Russia on October 5, 2012, and concluded on December 29, 2012. Based on the original Dutch show The Voice of Holland, the series sought to find new singing talent contested by aspiring singers from public auditions.
The coaching panel consisted of Dima Bilan, Pelageya, Alexander Gradsky, and Leonid Agutin. Dmitry Nagiev served as the presenter.
The format involved blind auditions, battle rounds, and live performance shows. In the blind auditions, the coaches listened to the contestants without seeing them and turned their chairs if they wanted the contestant on their team. If multiple coaches turned, the contestant chose which team to join. The battle rounds pitted teammates against each other in duets, with the coach selecting one to advance. The live shows featured public voting alongside coach input to determine who moved forward.
The winner of the first season was Dina Garipova, representing Team Gradsky.
