Exciter (Exciter album)

Exciter is the ninth studio album by the English electronic band Depeche Mode, released on May 14, 2001, by Mute Records. It was produced by Mark Bell of LFO fame, marking a departure from their previous more industrial-influenced sound towards a more minimalist and glitch-oriented style.

The album's title, "Exciter," suggests a sense of stimulation and invigoration, aligning with some of the album's themes of love, spirituality, and overcoming adversity.
