Tăureni

Tăureni is a commune located in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Fânațe (Fönlak), Moara de Jos (Alsómalom), and Tăureni.

The commune is situated in the Mureș River valley. Its economy is primarily agricultural.

Historically, the area has been part of various administrative regions within Transylvania, including being under Austro-Hungarian rule before the union with Romania in 1918.
