Twang (album)

Twang is the fifth studio album by American country music artist George Strait. It was released on August 11, 2009, by MCA Nashville. The album was produced by Tony Brown and George Strait.

The album includes the singles "Living for the Night", "Twang", and "The Breath You Take". "Living for the Night" reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, while "Twang" reached number 2. "The Breath You Take" peaked at number 19.

Twang debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The album received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised Strait's traditional country sound and the album's songwriting. Some critics considered it a return to form for Strait.
