Pat Moriarty (American football)

Pat Moriarty (born June 18, 1960) is a former American football player and coach. He played as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons and the Houston Oilers from 1983 to 1987.

Moriarty played college football at Syracuse University, where he was a standout defensive player. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 1983 NFL Draft.

Following his playing career, Moriarty transitioned into coaching. He has held various coaching positions at the high school and college levels. He served as the defensive line coach for the University of Connecticut and has held head coaching positions at several high schools.
