Tommy Taylor (footballer, born 1951)

Tommy Taylor (born 26 December 1951) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Taylor began his career with West Ham United, making his debut in 1970. He then went on to play for Leyton Orient, making over 100 league appearances for the club. After Leyton Orient, he joined Cambridge United. He later played for Southend United and Colchester United, before ending his professional career.

After retiring from professional football, Taylor continued to play at non-league level. Details of his later career are less readily available, but he is remembered for his solid defensive performances during his time in the Football League.
