Rinku Singh (cricketer)

Rinku Singh (born October 12, 1997) is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh and represents Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a left-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler.

Singh came into the spotlight after a series of impressive performances in domestic cricket, particularly in the Ranji Trophy, where he consistently scored runs and demonstrated his aggressive batting style. He was first acquired by Kings XI Punjab in 2017 before being picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018.

Singh's IPL career has seen him evolve from a relatively unknown player to a key member of the KKR middle order. He is known for his ability to finish games under pressure, hitting crucial boundaries in the death overs. His notable achievements include a remarkable five sixes in a row against Yash Dayal of the Gujarat Titans in the 2023 IPL season, securing a memorable victory for his team.
