Jim Thomas (tennis)
Jim Thomas (born September 24, 1974) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. He primarily played doubles, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 29 in November 2005.
Thomas had a successful college tennis career at Stanford University, where he won the NCAA Doubles Championship in 1997.
As a professional, he won four ATP Tour doubles titles:
- 2001 Newport (with Robbie Koenig)
- 2003 Amersfoort (with Martin Verkerk)
- 2005 Beijing (with Justin Gimelstob)
- 2006 San Jose (with Paul Goldstein)
He reached the quarterfinals of the 2005 Wimbledon Championships in doubles with partner Justin Gimelstob.
