Orianthi
Orianthi Panagaris (born January 22, 1985), most commonly known simply as Orianthi, is an Australian guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She is known for her technical proficiency, energetic performances, and work in the genres of rock, pop, and blues.
Orianthi gained mainstream recognition in 2009 when she was selected as Michael Jackson's lead guitarist for his This Is It concert series. Although the concerts were cancelled due to Jackson's death, her performance in the rehearsals was featured in the film Michael Jackson's This Is It.
Since then, Orianthi has released several solo albums, including Believe (2009), Heaven in This Hell (2013), and O (2020). She has also toured extensively, both as a solo artist and as a member of other bands and projects. Her guitar playing has been praised by many notable musicians, and she has collaborated with artists such as Alice Cooper, Carrie Underwood, and Steve Vai. She has also been a member of the supergroup Hollywood Vampires.
