Communist League (Denmark)

The Communist League (Denmark) was a minor, militant Marxist-Leninist organization active in Denmark during the 1970s and 1980s. It adhered to Hoxhaism, the political ideology of Enver Hoxha's Albania, strongly criticizing both Soviet revisionism and Maoism.

The organization was known for its dogmatic interpretation of Marxism-Leninism and its staunch defense of the Albanian communist regime. Its activities primarily involved publishing propaganda, organizing demonstrations, and participating in debates within the Danish left-wing political landscape. They actively opposed the perceived influence of the Soviet Union and the United States in Danish affairs, advocating for a socialist revolution in Denmark based on the Albanian model.

The Communist League (Denmark) remained a relatively small and isolated group, never achieving significant political influence. Its membership was primarily composed of students and intellectuals. The group eventually dissolved in the late 1980s or early 1990s, coinciding with the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe and Albania. No significant successor organization emerged.
